A Dream That Became a Home
From humble beginnings to Atlanta’s yoga sanctuary, here is the Peachtree Yoga Center story.
The Peachtree Yoga Center’s story began in 1998, when Graham Fowler, one of Atlanta’s early yoga leaders, opened a dedicated space for practice. His vision was to create more than a class, a place where body and breath could cut through mental noise and connect students to presence. This chapter marks an important part of yoga studio history in Atlanta.
In 2017, Graham passed the studio to Ilona Moore, a long-time teacher shaped by her own journey of transformation through yoga. With her guidance, Peachtree Yoga continues to honor its lineage while deepening its role in the local community. Ilona carries forward the studio’s heart with clarity and care.
At Peachtree Yoga Center, we honor who you are and who you are becoming. Through thoughtful movement, steady breath, and a supportive community, we help you find clarity, ease, and authenticity with every practice.
Classes support progress whether you are stepping onto the mat for the first time or advancing your teaching.
Our philosophy connects practice to purpose, not performance.
More of our teachers hold advanced certifications than any other studio in the state
From friendly greetings to grounded guidance, students return time and again for lasting transformation.
We are a diverse group of teachers who live what we teach. Each of us brings years of experience, deep training, and a heart-centered approach.
Today, Peachtree Yoga remains one of Atlanta’s most established studios. Classes, teacher training, and online learning opportunities connect students locally and worldwide. Through it all, the focus stays the same: steady practice, supportive community, and teaching yoga with depth and integrity.
“Yoga opened a door to me. I realized it would be something infinitely more profound.” Ilona
